Citrus fruit, fresh or dried — Bahamas import duty
Most citrus fruit, fresh or dried are duty-free: 10 of 30 tariff lines under Heading 0805 carry no import duty, and the rest run up to 25%. It includes oranges — orange, fresh, grapefruit and pomelos — fresh and oranges — oranges, dried — other. Duty is not the whole bill: The Bahamas adds a 1% customs processing fee (minimum $10, maximum $750) and 10% VAT on the landed cost.
