What the extension collects

When you view an Amazon or eBay product page, the extension sends to our backend only: the product's ASIN or eBay item number, title, category breadcrumbs, displayed price, item weight, and (on Amazon) the Import Fees Deposit amount shown on the page. It also sends an anonymous random install identifier, used to enforce the free-tier daily limit and to count how many distinct installs are in use (see Analytics below), and — if extraction fails — a minimal failure report (which extraction step failed; never page content).

What it does not collect

No cookies, no browsing history, no purchases, no names, no email addresses, no Amazon or eBay account data. The extension reads only the Amazon or eBay product page you are actively viewing, and requests permissions for amazon.com and ebay.com only.

The public catalog

Product lookups populate a public catalog of product data only (ASIN, title, classification, observed prices, aggregate view counts). No user identifier is ever associated with a catalog entry — the site cannot and does not reveal who looked anything up.

Analytics

We record how often lookups happen, from which country, and whether they came from the extension or the website, using Google Analytics. These measurements are sent from our server, not from the extension — the extension loads no analytics code and no Google script ever runs in your browser because of it. What Google receives is the anonymous install identifier, the country the request came from, and the marketplace and product category involved. It does not receive your IP address, and it is never sent the product page, the page URL, or anything identifying you.

Website

The website sets no tracking cookies of its own. Outbound "View on Amazon" links are Amazon Associates affiliate links, and outbound eBay links are eBay Partner Network affiliate links (see the disclosure in the footer). eBay product pages also load eBay's Partner Network script from epnt.ebay.com, which eBay uses to attribute purchases to this site; that script is eBay's and runs under eBay's privacy policy. If display advertising is added, the ad provider and its cookie policy will be listed here first.
