See the Bahamas duty on Amazon and eBay product pages
The duty242 extension adds the Bahamas import cost (duty, environmental levy, processing fee and VAT) next to the price. On Amazon it appears beside the Import Fees Deposit so you can compare the two. eBay doesn't show an import estimate at all, so there it's the only figure you'll see.
Works on amazon.com and ebay.com. No account needed, and it never sees your browsing history.
What it does
- Shows the full breakdown on the product page: import duty, the 1% processing fee, any environmental levy and 10% VAT.
- On Amazon, puts the Bahamas figure next to the Import Fees Deposit and shows the difference, so you can see before you buy whether the deposit is high or low.
- Has an optional freight field in the popup, for forwarder shipping.
- Reads only the product page you're on, and only on amazon.com and ebay.com. There's no account, and it doesn't use cookies or your browsing history. It adds no ads to Amazon or eBay.
What it looks like
Here the deposit is $47.50 higher than the Bahamas calculation, and the badge shows the difference.
eBay shows nothing for Bahamas import, so the badge gives you the figure before you bid.
Privacy: the extension sends only product data (ASIN or eBay item number, title, category, price, weight, and Amazon's deposit where shown) to compute the duty. No cookies, browsing history or personal data are collected; see the privacy policy.
