Tin: Bahamas import duty
Every one of the 5 tariff lines under Chapter 80 (tin) carries a flat 45% import duty in The Bahamas. It includes unwrought tin, tin waste and scrap and tin alloys. Duty is not the whole bill: The Bahamas adds a 1% customs processing fee (minimum $10, maximum $1,500) and 10% VAT on the landed cost.
