Coated & Technical Textiles — Bahamas import duty
Chapter 59 covers coated & technical textiles. The most common rate is 45% import duty (22 of 24 tariff lines), with rates ranging from 5% to 45%. It includes textile wall coverings, rubberised textile fabrics and linoleum. Duty is not the whole bill: The Bahamas adds a 1% customs processing fee (minimum $10, maximum $750) and 10% VAT on the landed cost.
