Furskins & Artificial Fur β Bahamas import duty
Chapter 43 covers furskins & artificial fur. The most common rate is 45% import duty (11 of 13 tariff lines), with rates ranging from 20% to 45%. It includes raw furskins, articles of apparel and articles of apparel and clothing accessories. Duty is not the whole bill: The Bahamas adds a 1% customs processing fee (minimum $10, maximum $750) and 10% VAT on the landed cost.
