Glues, Enzymes & Starches — Bahamas import duty
Chapter 35 covers glues, enzymes & starches. The most common rate is 45% import duty (13 of 15 tariff lines), with rates ranging from 20% to 45%. It includes gelatin sheets, peptones and their derivatives and enzymes. Duty is not the whole bill: The Bahamas adds a 1% customs processing fee (minimum $10, maximum $750) and 10% VAT on the landed cost.
